“Palmerston” is a detached traditional croft house which sleeps up to 7 people. Located in the community of Lochcarron on the shores of Loch Carron, it enjoys wonderful views across the loch to the Atterdale estate and hills.

The cottage is in the heart of the village but has its own garden with access to the shore across the road.

Within easy walking distance, Lochcarron village boasts food stores, garages with petrol, churches, a bank, 2 pub/ hotels with restaurants and a café offering takeaway meals. Locally there are a museum, craft shops, potteries and the internationally famous Lochcarron weavers.

Close by are the gardens of Atterdale House and Eilean Donan castle, and of course there are excellent opportunities for hill walking, fishing, and even a 9 hole golf course.

The area is also a great place for observing the wild life, with local pine martens, deer and even otters are occasionally seen in and around the loch.
