Shepherd’s
Cottage is an original croft cottage modernised to the highest standards
including comfortable en suit rooms. An ideal centre for visiting famous
sites such as Eilean Donan Castle and the Isle of Skye.
The cottage is located on the main A87 trunk road, at Nostie, two miles
North of Dornie and Eilean Donan Castle. Just five miles away is Kyle of Lochalsh, gateway to the
legendary Isle of Skye. The cottage is an ideal centre to visit the wide
variety of unique sights, both of Historic interest and Natural beauty,
with plenty to do and see for all the family.
Shepherd’s Cottage is also where Brenda Macrow, the well known Highland travel
writer of the 1940’s, actually stayed whilst writing her book
“Kintail Scrapbook”.
